About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Installation Specialist to join our team at PCR Staffing. As a Data Center Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure in a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including cabling, routers, switches, and other equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering sustainable and repeatable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles and provide structured feedback on project progress.
  • Physical Requirements: Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods, with some sitting. Ability to communicate effectively and lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools, customer service, job safety requirements, and ability to read and understand floor plans.
  • Experience: Previous experience in data center installation and maintenance, with a focus on network infrastructure.
  • Certifications: LEB Certifications, BICSI and industry Certifications are desired but not required.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced data center environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. The ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms is also required.
