We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic and electrical equipment used in our meat processing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance in the maintenance of control equipment.
- Maintain files, records, and logs concerning equipment using the SAP system.
- Assist in the startup, testing, and maintenance of systems with control equipment.
- Assist in the selection, requisition, and inspection of new equipment and spare parts.
- Diagnose and repair control system problems.
- Perform maintenance, production, and sanitation functions.
- Perform electronic and electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment for operations and utilities.
- Follow all plant policies, safety regulations, and industrial hygiene regulations as a condition of employment.
- Provide technical assistance and/or participate in TQM committees as requested.
- Provide communication between Engineering and Operation teams as an Engineering representative on operational teams/committees.
- Use detailed steps in the performance of all PMs by following steps and adding to or correcting when appropriate.
- Keep work areas clean and perform shop cleanup as needed. Know and follow Listeria rules/procedures.
- Update electronic prints to ensure changes and additions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in developing and delivering technical training.
- Maintain an understanding of industrial PLC programming. Perform programming upgrades and changes.
- Promote and support organizational goals and culture.
- Maintain compliance with KSRMP Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain compliance individually with performance against Maintenance KPIs.
- Drive things we value, including no loss mentality and continuous improvement.
- This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Kirksville, MO, QRMP accountability document.
- Industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical school or college-level coursework.
