Key Responsibilities:

- Identify areas for code improvement and propose effective solutions.
- Promote operational excellence by establishing Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and programming for resilience and scalability.
- Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders to develop effective solutions to challenges.
- Adopt a holistic approach to analyze issues and implement comprehensive solutions, ensuring connections between structure, personnel, processes, and technology.
- Report on the status of complex or high-level projects to local technical leadership through written or verbal communication, ensuring thorough documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related software engineering role.
- Experience working in decentralized teams and projects.
- Formally mentored at least three individuals.
- Led the technical design of at least three projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in multiple technologies or programming languages.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, NewRelic, Splunk).
- Ability to comprehend highly complex systems and design moderately complex systems.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of networking, infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Prior experience in DevOps/SRE or related roles.
