Job Overview

With our corporate headquarters and main sorting facility located in St. Cloud, MN, we have grown to employ over 1,800 individuals across 36 branch locations in 9 states.

Position Summary

The Logistics Vehicle Operator is responsible for ensuring that all delivery vehicles are unloaded, cleaned, and parked efficiently while assisting with the sorting of packages.

Work Schedule and Compensation

  • Monday to Friday, starting at 4:30 PM
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week
  • Hourly wage ranges from $18.50 to $20.50, depending on experience, plus additional shift differentials

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive empty fleet vehicles to designated washing and parking locations
  • Supervise the truck washing team to ensure thorough cleaning of all vehicles
  • Park fleet vehicles in the correct route docks
  • Utilize a radio to communicate vehicle swaps to management
  • Coordinate with the Fleet Maintenance department regarding vehicle modifications
  • Assist warehouse personnel with package sorting
  • Safely and accurately sort, load, and unload freight
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or willingness to learn
  • Capability to read labels quickly and work independently

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record that meets company standards

Physical Demands

  • Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Capability to handle various types of freight, including hazardous materials, perishable goods, firearms, and live animals
