Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering radiation treatments to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation treatment to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription
  • Perform CT Simulation as ordered by the Radiation Oncologist to optimize the patient's treatment position in comfort and reproducibility
  • Utilize the hospital and Radiation Oncology EMR systems to record patient treatment delivery, document patient positioning information, and communicate any pertinent information regarding the patient's care coordination
  • Ensure a positive and compassionate patient experience by providing support and education
  • Perform daily morning QA on linear accelerators and CT simulator
  • Participate in on-call procedure
  • Schedule patients for simulation and treatment
  • Perform daily billing for treatment and simulation
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
  • Mold Room Duties
  • Demonstrate commitment to collaborative professional relationships with physicians and all members of the health care team
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
  • NJ State Licensure Radiation Therapy
  • AART
