Support Migratory Birds on Their Journey

Natural Area Preservation is calling on volunteers to help protect the habitats of migratory birds. By supporting insect habitats, we can give these birds a chance to complete their cross-continent expedition.

Join us at the Marshall Nature Area for a day of invasive weed removal. Volunteers will work together to pull weeds from the ground by hand, using unpaved trails and going off-trail as needed. To ensure a safe and successful event, please preregister through VolunteerHub.

What to Expect

  • Wear long pants, tall socks, and closed-toe shoes for your safety
  • Meet at the parking lot off Dixboro Rd. (additional parking on Church St, across Dixboro)
  • Preregister through VolunteerHub to help us plan for enough staff and supplies
