Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at LanceSoft. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading or supporting activities in the preparation of mechanical design scope documents, schedules, budgets, P&IDs, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and equipment or commodity specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide design oversight to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Lead or support activities in preparation of mechanical design scope documents, schedules, budgets, P&IDs, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and equipment or commodity specifications.
  • Provide technical direction to other engineers, designers, and drafters.
  • Communicate effectively with other disciplines, project, and plant personnel to ensure project success.
  • Assess current field conditions and gather necessary information to support design activities.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience related to the design of new construction and/or retrofit of power generation facilities or heavy industrial facilities.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
