Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to individuals of all ages who experience communication disorders, speech impairments, and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient needs, and goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, fluency, and pragmatic language abilities.
  • Administer and interpret standardized tests and measures to evaluate speech and language abilities.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, therapeutic exercises, and techniques to enhance speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
