MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their team in Webster, Texas.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, produce high-quality images, and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls of the related equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast, if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
