Housekeeping Specialist

We are seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff.

• Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing patient room furniture, sitting rooms, and dining room furniture
• Removal and disposal of trash
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions
• Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
