We are seeking a highly skilled Genetic Nurse Coordinator to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals and their families affected by cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, education, and advocacy.
- Administrative: Develop and maintain databases to track key performance indicators, such as patient satisfaction and clinical trial accrual.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Professional Development: Identify training opportunities for staff and self, and recommend development activities to supervisors.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE-accredited institution.
- Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in oncology nursing.
- Certifications: Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: OCN certification.
