We are looking for a Licensed MRI Imaging Specialist who is enthusiastic and driven.

Candidates should demonstrate exceptional efficiency and meticulous attention to detail, along with a strong understanding of procedures and patient safety. Compassion and sensitivity are essential traits for this role. The ideal candidate will also exhibit critical thinking skills and the ability to respond swiftly in emergencies. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Imaging Specialist, fully proficient in all duties of an MRI Technologist II.
  • Valid license in the required state.
  • BLS certification
  • Proficiency in MRI procedures and protocols.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group settings.
  • Willingness to learn relevant applications for the position.
  • At least 2 years of hospital experience in a clinical setting; EP experience preferred.

Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to generate cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the guidance of the Chief of Radiology and Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and patient care.
  • Conduct patient studies following established protocols, including positioning coils near the area of interest.
  • Manage imaging equipment to deliver quality diagnostic services, including inputting commands for scan sequences and adjusting necessary settings.
  • Communicate with patients to explain MRI procedures, addressing any concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure safety for patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols and monitoring patients during procedures.
  • Provide orientation and training for new hires and MRI Technologists, as well as students and trainees.
