Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report patient condition to the healthcare team, including vital signs, medication administration, and any changes in patient status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and document patient responses and any adverse reactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in maternal child health.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternal Child Health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
