Job Summary

Steward Health Care is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in a MedSurg Unit setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, including vital sign collection and non-invasive specimen collection.
  • Support physicians and nursing staff with procedures and patient care activities.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Current/Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA) required.
  • Crisis De-escalation training within 90 days of hire date required.
