Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care
  • Participate in the teaching and training of new staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
