Gynecologist and Obstetrician

Clinical Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a skilled professional for a locum tenens position in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team.

Contract Details:
- Duration: 1 year
- Commitment: Ideally looking for 2-4 weeks per month

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers, midwives, Medical Assistants, and administrative personnel

Patient Care:
- Average of 20 patients per day
- Patient demographics include older adolescents and adults, with a focus on low-income populations and a significant percentage of Medicaid recipients.

Department Overview:
This clinic specializes in a wide range of services including:
- Adolescent gynecology
- Cervical cancer screenings
- Contraceptive options, both oral and implantable
- Genetic testing and counseling
- Gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomies
- Hormone replacement therapy
- In-office ultrasound imaging
- Comprehensive obstetric care, both low- and high-risk
- Routine wellness examinations

Technical Requirements:
- EMR System: Epic
- Procedures include full scope OBGYN practices, consultations, deliveries, laparoscopies, hysterectomies, C-sections, biopsies, and general surgeries.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology required; 3-4 years preferred
- Experience with low-income populations is highly desirable
- Board Certification: BE/BC
- Must be willing to apply for a state license

Certifications:
- BLS and ACLS required
