Overview:

The Seattle office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an associate attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of complex civil and general liability litigation experience. An interest in environmental and toxic tort cases is preferred. Candidates must have strong research, writing, and communication skills, and have an interest in handling all facets of litigation including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, handling complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling complex civil and general liability litigation cases
  • Preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling complex discovery
  • Representing clients in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial
  • Working with a team of experienced attorneys to achieve client goals

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Washington Bar is required
  • Admission to the Oregon bar is helpful, but not required
  • At least two (2) years of complex civil and general liability litigation experience
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
