HCA Florida Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiac Catheterization Lab to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Your expertise will ensure that all patients receive exceptional and efficient treatment in a procedural setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate the outcomes for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Assist physicians during operative procedures, ensuring a smooth and safe process.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including documenting tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications as per physician orders, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and effective communication abilities.
