About the Position:

The RN Staff Nurse will be responsible for promoting restorative health and/or supportive care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. This includes collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to address patient needs, supervising and supporting LPNs, ER Techs, Nurse Techs, and students, and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments and nursing care in medical records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote restorative health and/or supportive care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to address patient needs
  • Supervise and support LPNs, ER Techs, Nurse Techs, and students as needed
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments and nursing care in medical records
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • RN licensure in Mississippi or eligibility for temporary licensure
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical center setting, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
