We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Preparer Assistant to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Preparer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their tax returns are accurate and completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program with precision and accuracy.
- Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
- Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service, meeting their expectations and building strong relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax return interview.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
- Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
- Additional state and local requirements may apply.
