Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Associate to join our team. As a Yard Associate, you will be responsible for building loads for deliveries, operating a forklift, and maintaining a safe and organized lumber yard and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build loads for delivery and unload freight, including lumber and building supplies
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Communicate delays or discrepancies with management
  • Maintain a clean and organized lumber yard and warehouse
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to others
  • Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
