Job Summary

CVR Energy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Hazmat Driver to join our team. As a Hazmat Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting hazmat products, including LPG, ethanol, and refined fuels, via tank truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and efficient transportation of hazmat products
  • Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling bulk liquid hazmat products
  • Meet established transport productivity requirements
  • Operate a hydraulic pump system in a safe manner
  • Utilize electronic dispatching software and electronic logging device
  • Prepare run tickets, vehicle inspection records, and electronic driver logs
  • Maintain strict adherence to all company, Federal, State, City, local laws, regulations and standards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Current CDL license with X endorsement, as per DOT regulations
  • 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Hazmat transportation experience preferred
  • Experience with receiving dispatch electronically and electronic logging preferred
Accountabilities
  • On time pickups, deliveries, and the safe transportation of LPG products, ethanol, or other specified products as assigned
  • Maintain a clean driving record per Federal, State, and DOT regulations
  • Strict adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and inspect assigned tractor/trailer equipment for compliance with all DOT regulations
