Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team for a project in Holly Springs, NC. As an Electrician with Southern Industrial, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to identify electrical systems and components.
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control systems.
  • Use various tools and equipment, such as voltage testers, wire strippers, and pipe benders, to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
  • Terminate panels and conductors using lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate electrical installations to avoid obstructions and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Run cable tray, pull wire, and bend conduit to meet project requirements.
  • Understand and apply motor control and metering principles to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.
  • Size branch circuit overcurrent protection devices and calculate loads for single-phase and three-phase branch circuits.
  • Review and compare electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform work at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging environments as required by the project.
Requirements
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Complete all safety and general job training as required by Southern Industrial.
  • Observe and adhere to Southern Industrial's and our clients' safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work in various environments, including offices, shops, warehouses, and construction sites, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, and adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely access all areas of the project site, including rooftops, confined spaces, and elevated positions.
  • Strenuous physical demands required to safely perform the essential functions of this position.
