Host/Door Job Description

This position requires the Hostess to greet guests at the door, seat and present clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner. It also requires the Host to interact with, entertain, and provide best in class service and hospitality to every Ojos Locos guest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Image & Costume Guidelines: Adhere to all established image and costume guidelines to maintain a consistent brand presence.
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Greet and seat guests promptly, present menus, and inform them of special catches and soups.
  • Exceptional Service: Treat all guests with a high level of professionalism and strive to exceed their expectations.
  • Waiting List Management: Take names on a waiting list and run the floor plan board to ensure efficient table management.
  • Table Management: Observe tables, keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables, and take guest information to quote wait times accurately.
  • Menu Maintenance: Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host area.
  • Phone and Menu Inquiries: Answer phone calls and respond to questions about the menu and restaurant.
  • Guest Interaction: Interact with guests as they arrive and depart to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • To-Go Orders: Fill to-go orders if applicable.
  • Facility Maintenance: Sweep the foyer and front entrance area frequently.
