Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Bulk Driver Hazmat to join our team at Airgas Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting and off-loading compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases.
  • Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
  • Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
  • Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 3+ year experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles.
  • Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience.
  • Preferred, Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience.
  • Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases, preferred.
