Job Summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a skilled Software Quality Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Engineering group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by providing technical guidance and expertise in planning, designing, executing testing, and developing procedures related to product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in planning, designing, executing testing, and developing procedures related to product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain node-based test suites using frameworks like Cypress or Webdriver.io or Puppeteer or Playwright.
  • Be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript on Node stack.
  • Have experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD orchestration tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Circle or similar).
  • Have a detailed understanding of build process for Java (SpringBoot), Node.js (Angular).
  • Have strong testing skills in Automation Scripting, Script execution, and Functional Testing.
  • Have experience with Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
  • Be deeply self-motivated with the ability to work independently, coordinating activities within cross-regional and multi-functional teams.
  • Have a passion for excellence, innovation, and teamwork; eager to learn and adapt every day.
  • Have experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, implementation, and Agile tools like JIRA.
  • Have strong technical design and analysis skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant hands-on SDET work experience with a specific focus on automation frameworks and automation testing.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining node-based test suites that utilize frameworks like Cypress or Webdriver.io or Puppeteer or Playwright.
  • Must be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript on Node stack.
  • Good to have: Hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining java-based test suites that utilize Selenium, Cucumber, and jUnit to test Web UI applications.
  • Expertise in web services testing and proven experience with RestAssured/Karate.
  • Advanced experience with Git+GitHub, CI/CD orchestration tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Circle or similar), Artifact Management (Artifactory, Git/Stash or similar).
