About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Audit Professional to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As an Associate Audit Professional, you will play a key role in providing audit and assurance services to our clients, working closely with our experienced staff and management personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audit testing on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
  • Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
  • Assist in drafting management letter comments and the audit report.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA exam or have CPA certification.
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Early career candidates may have up to 18 months of relevant progressive audit experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate audit and public accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work.
