Position: SAP ABAP Developer (Level 2)

Location: Hybrid

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Project Overview:

Our organization is utilizing SAP ERP, Business Warehouse, Enterprise Portal, and Business Object systems for transaction processing and reporting. These SAP systems are integrated with various other applications, enhancing operational efficiency. We are seeking an ABAP developer to assist in addressing ongoing SAP enhancements and issues arising from business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong programming skills in ABAP within the SAP environment.
  • Possess experience in ABAP programming across multiple modules such as SD, FI, HR, and MM.
  • Required experience in developing Adobe Forms.
  • Familiarity with EP Portal Development is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAP Workflow is essential.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies emerging within the SAP landscape.
  • Collaborate with teams to define business requirements based on the strategic goals of specific functions.
  • Engage at the highest technical level throughout all phases of SAP client/server enterprise application activities.
  • Oversee and monitor critical path activities, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new business processes, ensuring proper organizational structure and SAP configuration.
  • Consult with user areas to determine production requirements, manage incident reporting, and identify problem areas.
  • Prepare and analyze detailed specifications for program development, encompassing design, prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP across various modules including MM, HR, FI, and CCS is highly desirable.
  • Experience with IDOC and EDI methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented programming.
  • Experience with SAP BW is a plus.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP as a developer or administrator.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience as an SAP ABAP programmer.
  • Possession of SAP HANA development certification is a plus.
