- Conduct thorough system checks to ensure vehicles are secure and functioning properly.
- Isolate and diagnose issues, then drive vehicles for testing purposes and inspect fluid levels as needed.
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters, and communicate oil levels to teammates.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Repair or replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns or damage.
- Operate power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
- Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
- Effective analytical and communication skills, with a willingness to improve.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; ASE Certification or technical degree preferred.
- One year of experience in a service department and a valid driver's license.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
