Overview

TerraBella Senior Living, a leading operator of senior living communities in the Carolinas and beyond, seeks an experienced Care/Medication Technician to join our team at TerraBella Shelby.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Care/Medication Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Care Giver:
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition, including skin, behavior, and medical concerns
  • Respond to security systems and resident call bells promptly
  • Document resident information and medication administration
  • Medication Tech duties:
  • Administer medications accurately and safely using the Six Rights of Medication Pass
  • Restock medication carts and maintain a clean and organized medication room
  • Participate in developing and updating resident service plans

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse's Aid certification or 80 hr. PCA certification required
  • Must be listed on NC DHHS Adult Care Medication Aide registry
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • CPR Certification preferred
  • First Aid Certification preferred

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, paid time off, and paid holidays.
