Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Developer to join our team at CAI. As a Data Warehouse Developer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and proactively managing the organization's databases, data vault/warehouse solutions, backup, archiving, systems, and monitoring resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect to new data sources
  • Explore data, model in the data vault and data mart
  • Configure and/or code data vault and data mart structures
  • Code complex stored procedures which implement business rules and load Fact tables
  • Convert complex existing report stored procedures from the legacy warehouse to the new one
  • Validate results using T-SQL; document all the differences
  • Troubleshoot code at all levels
  • Work with the report developers as they adapt to using the new warehouse
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of T-SQL development. Very strong T-SQL skills needed
  • 4+ years SSIS experience required
  • Strong database and data warehouse modeling experience
  • Experience with Microsoft database projects (dacpac)
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Experience with Microsoft Access as a front end for SQL Server
Preferred:
  • Experience with advanced T-SQL such as dynamic code generation, recursion, Gaps & Islands desirable
  • SSAS experience desired
  • Exposure to Data Vault
Physical Demands:

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
