  2. Therapy Services: Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, employing evidence-based practices.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  4. Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
  5. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  6. Professional Development: Stay informed about current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Licensure: Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Vermont.
  3. Certification: Certification from the Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools (or eligibility for certification).
  4. Professional Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  5. Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of educational policies, procedures, and regulations related to special education services. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Preferred experience working with students in educational settings.
