We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. As a caregiver with Village Caregiving, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly clients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Medication reminders and administration
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed
  • Escort clients to appointments and activities
  • Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
