- Train and educate operators and staff on chemical safety, sanitation equipment, and sanitation procedures.
- Develop and implement Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) for the bakery.
- Lead the root cause analysis for sanitation-specific deficiencies.
- Improve changeover efficiencies using continuous improvement tools.
- Ensure accurate chemical and cleaning supply inventories.
- Assist in the coordination of sanitation staff activities and goals.
- Agility and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and sanitation requirements.
- Experience with clean-out-of-place (COP) systems and acid, alkali, and sanitizing chemicals.
- Knowledge of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) audit system.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
