About the Role

Zebra is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System: Manage and maintain our quality management system, including change control, document control, calibration, and IFS basic data in our ERP system.
  • Batch Record Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of batch records to ensure the final release of products meets our quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to other quality assurance personnel, and act as an informal team leader when needed.
  • Document Control: Maintain and update quality system procedures and work instructions, and support our document control electronic system.
  • Change Control: Support the change control process, including revising documents and processes, tracking open changes, and maintaining records.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Facilitate vendor evaluation processes, including maintaining vendor checklists and ensuring vendor ISO certificates are current and on file.
  • Customer Audits: Assist with customer and registration audits, interacting with senior internal and external personnel.
  • Record Retention: Manage record retention, preparing records for offsite storage, managing destruction/shredding, and maintaining electronic copies.
  • Product Releases: Review job jacket contents, QC records, and verify Certificate of Analysis and Lot Analysis for product releases.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain good communication and working relationships with all departments, and effectively function within a team environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 4 years of work experience, with at least 3 years of quality management system experience.
  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, knowledgeable math ability, ability to read and interpret data, and proficiency in using spreadsheets and email software.
