Donor Screener Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Donor Screener Representative to join our team at Biolife Plasma Services. As a Donor Screener Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of plasma donations.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000-$58,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location in Bossier City, LA.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for screening donors, taking and recording vital signs, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records. You will also work closely with the Plasma Center Manager to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
