Job Title: Electro-Optical Systems Engineer

Join a leading company in the development of commercial and military electro-optical products, including infrared cameras and other thermal imaging systems, electro-optical sensor systems, fire control systems, laser ranging and tracking systems.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work as a lead systems engineer for electro-optical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical leadership of current programs and leading proposal, design, and R&D efforts on new programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electro-optical systems, including proposal development, technology design and development, prototype design and development, process development, product development, and technical project management.
  • Provide technical direction for the engineering team and serve as the customer technical point of contact.
  • Work with upper management to develop new technology, process, and business ideas.
  • Assist engineering leads on technical issues.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Engineering or Physics.
  • Strong experience designing and developing commercial and military electro-optic systems, including expertise in electro-optical sensor systems, infrared and thermal imaging systems, fire control systems, etc.
  • Technical expertise to lead engineering design teams.
  • Experience designing systems for manufacturing.
