Job Title: Child Development Associate

About the Position:
The Cortland Child Development Program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Child Development Associate. In this role, you will work closely with our lead teachers to provide high-quality care and education to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and contribute to the development of our curriculum and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist lead teachers with daily activities and lesson planning
* Implement engaging and interactive educational programs and activities
* Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, including managing classroom materials and supplies
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, including regular communication and progress updates
* Collaborate with other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives
* Adhere to all center policies and state regulations

Requirements:
* MUST HAVE Childcare Experience (at least one year)
* High School Diploma (or equivalent)
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* TB and Physical (must be within a year of hire)
* Cleared through NYS
* Able to lift 50 lbs. and walk 2 miles unassisted
