About the Role

As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring safe delivery, setup, and education on the usage of home medical equipment for our customers.

You will operate company vehicles at or above 10,001 pounds, requiring DOT compliance, and set up equipment in customers' homes or long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medical equipment safely and efficiently to customers' homes or long-term care settings.
  • Provide thorough training and education on the proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by AdaptHealth LLC.
  • Comply with all applicable governmental regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Manage territory to reach service goals and deliver equipment, including oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards.
  • Process orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Promote services and products to referral sources in the community as appropriate.
  • Assist with customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
  • Complete written patient visit reports following set-up and follow-up visits as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Entry-level sales and customer service experience essential.
  • Military, delivery driver with sales component, or healthcare technician experience considered related.
  • One year of HME delivery experience preferred.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence.
  • Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Medical Card).

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.
