Job Summary

As a LPN Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for directing nursing care for patients and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Direct nursing care for patients and supervise nursing assistants
Operate oxygen equipment, suction machines, and manual respirators
Deliver medications and receive drugs from pharmacy
Collect lab specimens and interpret results
Implement and administer IV medications
Maintain effective lines of communication with attending physicians

Requirements

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved LPN program
Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
