Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and machinery. You will apply your knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties to design and modify circuit boards, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and advance the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical components, equipment, and machinery
  • Apply knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties to design and modify circuit boards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and advance the quality of our products
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience working with microprocessors, DSP, and EtherCAT
  • Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in teams and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of electrical health and safety regulations
  • Proficient in the use of electrical engineering software
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred
