Respiratory Therapist

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory therapy services to patients with heart and lung abnormalities in a hospital setting, including intensive care and emergency rooms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with the ability to evaluate, administer, and document various treatments, including aerosol therapy, ABGs, ETTs, bronchus, ECGs, CPT vent care, CPAP/BIPAP therapy, and other respiratory care procedures.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for continually assessing the cardiopulmonary condition of patients using data acquired from physical examination, respiratory monitoring, and diagnostic equipment, and documenting all work activity in applicable computer systems.

This position requires a high level of expertise in respiratory care, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Evaluates and administers respiratory therapy treatments to patients with heart and lung abnormalities

Continually assesses the cardiopulmonary condition of patients using data acquired from physical examination, respiratory monitoring, and diagnostic equipment

Documents all work activity in applicable computer systems

Participates in the transfer of equipment and supplies to and from other Cardiopulmonary Departments as necessary

Cleans, assembles, and maintains CPS equipment and restocks supplies as needed

Graduation from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy

One (1) year recent clinical experience in Respiratory Care

License to practice as a respiratory care practitioner through the Washington State Department of Health

Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care

Current healthcare provider BLS Certification
