Position Overview
IT Concepts Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Developer Level 3 to support our Defense Intelligence client. The ideal candidate will possess experience across various development technologies and methodologies, along with strong skills in process enhancement to elevate the team's performance.

Key Responsibilities
Relevant experience for this role may encompass:

  • Software development
  • Cloud engineering
  • Management consulting
  • Implementing software code
  • Debugging technical issues

The candidate should be adept at researching, testing, building, and coordinating integration in accordance with government standards.

We seek a versatile software developer with experience in delivering web solutions for government entities, proficient in multiple programming languages, and experienced in both frontend and backend development, microservices, and API creation.

Collaboration with government leads to develop solutions, interface designs, and website architecture is essential. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is required.

Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or an associate's degree with 10+ years of experience)
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • Experience in frontend and/or backend web application development
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language such as .NET, C#, Java, Python, or Go
  • Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, CSS, HTML, and React
  • Strong SQL skills or experience with ORMs
  • Self-motivated with the ability to transform loose requirements into effective solutions
  • Willingness to seek guidance and propose alternative solutions
  • Experience with version control systems like GitLab or GitHub
  • Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in troubleshooting existing applications and developing new features
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, Postgres, and MongoDB

Preferred Skills
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Full stack development experience
  • Comfort with various technology stacks, such as .NET/C#/Windows/SQL Server and Linux/Python/Postgres
  • Security+ certification
  • Modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue, Solid, or Angular
  • Data analytics and visualization skills
  • UI design experience
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of tools
  • Understanding of IA processes and accreditation
  • Willingness to obtain Security+ certification if not already held
  • Experience with UI Path is a plus

Clearance Requirement
Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with the willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
