This large healthcare facility is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Department Manager to oversee their nutrition services.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Accountable for the strategic planning, development, and execution of Nutrition Services, which includes managing oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition support for inpatients, as well as providing nutrition education for outpatients and staff.
- Ensures departmental quality assurance measures are in place and regularly reported. Responsible for the maintenance of the CBORD Computerized Diet Office system.
- Leads a team of Clinical Dietitians and Dietary Assistants.
- Provides direct nutritional care across various patient demographics including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), credentialed by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND).
- Current licensure with the Board of Dietetics in the relevant state.
- Demonstrated management and organizational capabilities, with prior managerial experience preferred.
- Innovative thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum of three years of clinical dietetics experience, ideally in an acute care setting.
- A Master's degree in dietetics or nutrition is preferred.
