We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Operations Manager to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving process optimization and business process improvement initiatives across our Claims Operations function.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, objectives, and pain points, and develop strategic plans to address these challenges.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of our Claims Operations processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements, including data analytics and process mapping.
- Develop and implement change management plans to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
- Provide subject matter expertise to business stakeholders on process optimization and business process improvement best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of business requirements and process documentation.
- Conduct data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop recommendations to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues, and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications.
- 8+ years of experience in insurance, preferably in process engineering, data analysis, Claims Operations, or TPA Operations.
- Strong skills in data acquisitions and analytics, including SQL.
- Experience with process optimization, business process improvement, and change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and interpretive skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Strong IT systems experience, including requirements building.
- Experience with SharePoint and Rally is beneficial.
