Bottle Inspector

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for inspecting and packing containers at our facility under the direction of the Production Supervisor or assigned person. The successful candidate will also operate downstream equipment and assist in coaching lower-level Bottle Packers on good company and packing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect containers for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Package containers according to customer specifications.
• Make cartons for packaging and assist in maintaining a clean production area.
• Grind containers that do not meet quality standards and remove contaminants.
• Clear jams on downstream equipment and restart.
• Maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the production area and adhere to Third Party regulations.
• Perform rework and assist co-workers as needed.

Requirements:

• High-school graduate or equivalent GED.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
