We are seeking an experienced Automation Maintenance Professional to join our team at Pratt Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. You will work closely with our production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with complex equipment applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide support for production and production equipment to optimize performance.
  • Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with established 5S systems and GMP regulations.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform adjustments and/or make corrections on equipment to optimize performance.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Education/training or applicable experience in a skilled trade related to industrial maintenance (e.g., mechanical, electrical, fluid power, machining, welding).
  • The ability to safely use hand and power tools, as well as electrical devices (e.g., voltmeter, ammeter).
  • Strong reading comprehension and the ability to work from schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • A customer service-oriented approach.
Physical Requirements

You must be able to:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, sit, kneel, squat, climb (using ladders) for extended periods.
  • Work long shifts (up to 12 hours per shift) in a 24-hour period.
  • Perform in varying temperatures and dusty environments with PPE as needed.
  • Use hand tools for prolonged periods.
  • Work overtime as needed.
Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
