Position Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in support of the Space Systems Command in Albuquerque, NM.

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the development and definition of complex systems, including performing risk assessments, managing interfaces, and developing technical plans. You'll work closely with program management to ensure complete program integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and supporting model-based systems to support a variety of systems
  • Developing and improving Systems Engineering processes for the program
  • Effectively communicating with all levels of the organization to determine process needs and to support other engineers as a model-based systems SME
  • Partnering with other Systems Engineers to design full life-cycle systems engineering processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 6 or more years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience

Experience with satellite ground systems, defining and executing MBSE projects, and familiarity with MBSE tools, such as Cameo, MagicDraw or similar modeling tools. Knowledge of systems engineering and integration principles and concepts, and ability to lead systems engineering activities that define and evolve a system of systems baseline.
Desired Experience:

Ability to integrate MBSE models and other technical baseline data, including CAD, Models, and Sim

Ability to work with senior client personnel, leaders, and decision makers, and experience on programs migrating systems to the cloud. INCOSE Certification, MBSE Certification, and SysML Certification are highly desirable.
Security Qualifications:

Must have fully adjudicated DoD Top Secret clearance or DOE Q clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
