Job Summary

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in anesthesiology and critical care, with a proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of high reliability and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications
  • Collaborate with the CVICU nursing team to develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the CVICU team to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the CVICU team

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board certification in anesthesiology and critical care
  • Experience in quality improvement and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
