Pediatric Ventilator Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to patients of all ages, including those requiring oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory interventions.
- Operating various oxygen and therapeutic gas equipment, including ventilators, nebulizers, and humidifiers.
- Recording data obtained during therapy and diagnostic testing in patient charts.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
- A Certified or Registered credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred but not necessary.
St. Joseph's Healthcare System offers a unique compensation package, which includes a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
